The Irish Premiere of my Artsakh-based documentary film on Feb 23, 2025

The Irish Premiere of my Artsakh-based documentary film, “My Sweet Land” will take place at the prestigious Dublin International Film Festival on February 23rd, at 15:45 at the Lighthouse Cinema. This award-winning coming-of-age story follows an 11-year-old boy through disillusionment, hope, and trauma in his homeland, Artsakh. The film is also nominated for the prestigious Irish Council for Civil Liberties Human Rights in Film Award, as part of the festival.

“My Sweet Land” was Jordan’s Official Submission to the 97th Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film before being withdrawn from the pool due to Azerbaijani pressure on the Jordanian government. It has received the support of major broadcasters in Europe and the US, such as ARTE, PBS, RTS, Creative Armenia (AGBU), and many other international film funds. It is an Irish-US-American-French Co-production.

Sareen Hairabedian, an Armenian Jordanian film maker will be present and will do a live Q&A after the screening. Please support Sareen and attend the premiere.
